Taking God at His Word

Join a reading group to work through Kevin DeYoung’s helpful little book, Taking God at His Word: Why the Bible is Knowable, Necessary, and Enough, and what that means for you and me.

As we explore the doctrine of Revelation through our ‘knowing God’ series over the next 4 weeks, we’re encouraging everyone in the church to take the opportunity to dig deeper into their understanding of the Scriptures. This book helps you reflect on the nature of the Bible itself and why that’s so significant for us.

You’re welcome to simply read the book yourself, but it’s all the more helpful to discuss it with others!

Feel free to form small reading groups yourself, or discuss it in your growth groups. If you’d like to be connected with others to form a reading group, email matt kennedy: matt @ chatswoodbaptist.com.au

Whether or not you’re discussing the book with others, you may find this reading guide (published by Crossway) helpful for reflecting on the key ideas in each chapter:
