Pastoral Team
Our pastoral team is responsible for leading, encouraging, training and equipping the people at Chatswood Baptist Church.
Philip Calman
Philip Calman is the senior pastor of the Church. As our senior pastor Philip is responsible for encouraging and building up the Church and leading the pastoral team. Philip graduated from Moore Theological College in 1992 and has also completed further studies at Morling College. He is married to Kylie and they have three children. Philip enjoys reading cycling, playing soccer (for the over 35's) bushwalking and coaching his son's soccer team.
Hefin Jones
Hefin is our associate pastor. He is responsible for the Evening church and coordinating our efforts to let people know about Christ. Originally from the UK, Hefin studied at Moore College, and has been involved in student and church ministry both in Australia and overseas. Hefin enjoys reading (a lot!), coffee and bush walking.

Patrick Chavez
Patrick is currently living and studying at Morling Bible College, and is half way through the Bachelor of Ministries degree. Originally from California, he is married to his Aussie wife, Meg, and they have 6 young children who keep life interesting and entertaining. Patrick's desire is to pastor a church full time somewhere within Australia one day. When Patrick is not studying or tending to family matters, or reading - you will find him passionately supporting his favorite football team the Sydney Swans. Patrick is our Pastoral Assistant serving in the Family Ministries here at Chatswood Baptist.
Ian Campbell
Ian is studying at SMBC and he finishes his studies at the end of 2008. Ian and his wife Rache are both originally from Victoria and love the outdoors and sport. Ian is involved in leading services and preaching occasionally, as well as other ministries and Rachel takes Scripture at Chatswood Public school and is involved in music and other ministries.
Ministry Staff
Anne Batten
Anne works as the Office Administrator for the church. She deals with all the admin matters including producing the weekly church bulletin, setting up the power point presentation and music folders for the morning and evening services. She is married to Tony, has two boys at school who keep her very busy with their school and weekend sport activities.
