Kids Learning About God (KLAG) and TNT
These are our programs for children on Sunday mornings. They seek to nurture our children so that they might grow up in their faith in Jesus. We do this by singing songs, telling Bible stories and doing fun activities based on the Bible. KLAG is designed to be an enjoyable learning experience for children from 2 years old to Year 6. TNT is for years 7-10. They run concurrently with morning church.
Playtime
Playtime provides support and encouragement to parents and their young children. It's a chance for parents to meet with other parents. It provides creative ideas and introduces children to books, singing, craft, and other children. At home you can sometimes run out of ideas and it's good to get some outside stimulation. At other times it just good to get out of the house!
The program is structured, yet with ample time for free play and lots of talk and interaction. A coordinator organizes activities, and makes sure that everything is running well. We also have a fantastic team of volunteers who help in the kitchen and are there to assist and talk with parents and their children. The group meets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
Holiday Kids Club
Our holiday kids club runs during the July school holidays. It runs over three mornings and includes a program of singing, craft, games, stories, drama, puppets. It caters for primary school children from K-6.
It was great to see so many kids having fun and learning about God in 2011.
